For Topping:

  • 200g Pepperoni Slices
  • 200g Mozzarella Cheese, Grated

Let’s Begin the Magic: Make Pepperoni Pizza

To begin with your pepperoni pizza, take a large bowl. Add four and salt to it. Now, mix sugar, yeast, and warm water in another bowl. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes until it becomes thick. Add the olive oil and yeast mixture to the flour until the dough forms. Place the dough on a floured surface and knead it for about 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic.

However, oil the container before placing the dough in it. Cove the container with a damp cloth; ensure that the container is large enough to let the dough rise. Place the dough warmly for 1-2 hours at room temperature. However, you can also place your dough in the refrigerator to make pepperoni pizza. In my case, I will be putting it at room temperature for one hour until it becomes double in size.

Prepare the Pizza Sauce:

To make pepperoni pizza sauce, take a saucepan and combine the chopped tomatoes, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. However, simmer the sauce over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes until it thickens.

Preparation of Pepperoni Pizza:

Before baking your pizza, preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C fan). Follow the below steps to prepare it more deliciously.

  • Roll out the pizza dough to the desired thickness on a floured surface.
  • Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza stone or a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Spread the prepared pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Layer the sauce with a layer of grated mozzarella cheese.
  • On top of the cheese, arrange the pepperoni slices.

You can bake it exclusively after adding all the ingredients and toppings to your pizza. Make sure you have preheated the oven. Thus, put your pizza inside and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes until the crust is golden brown. In addition, the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned. Before slicing, take the pizza out of the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes.

Bottom Line:

Slice the pepperoni pizza and serve it hot. However, sprinkle some fresh basil or grated Parmesan cheese before serving. Enjoy your homemade pepperoni pizza! For more pizza recipes, food tips, and tricks, keep following Blogging Hut.
